Sellers and buyers are responsible for all aspects of transactions in which they participate. Furthermore, sellers and buyers are responsible for reviewing and complying with any applicable laws, regulations, or restrictions for the state in which both the buyer and seller resides. This includes laws, regulations, or restrictions on items and services, and the method of sale or exchange in which buyers and sellers participate on petpages.com.au

Rules for listing on petpages.com.au:                                                 
1. You must list your items or services in the most appropriate category.
Failure to do so may result in them being removed by the administrator. In such circumstances, no explanation will be provided. 
2. You are not permitted to link to, display, or advertise (through the use of email addresses, URLs, images, or any other contact information) goods or services not directly connected to the legitimate posting you are placing on petpages.com.au. Information contravening this requirement will be removed by the administrator. In such circumstances, no explanation will be provided.
3. You may not include any content or images in your classified listing that is obscene, offensive, harmful to minors, constitutes an invasion of privacy, or is otherwise inappropriate.
4. You may not offer any item for sale that is not in your possession or you do not have the right to sell.
5. You may not use or manipulate this service for any fraudulent activity or purpose.
6. You may not disrupt petpages.com.au operations or service. This includes the use of any automated routines used to gather or generate information via our web site, or any other repetitive action that may degrade the performance of our systems.
7. petpages.com.au is a free service listing site and as such, no charges can be placed on petpages.com.au for any transaction carried out using information listed on this site.

Offensive Material and Restricted language:                                           
Classifieds that promote hatred, violence, racism, intolerance or attacks on personal character are not permitted on petpages.com.au
Language that is vulgar, racist, hateful, overtly sexual, or obscene in nature is prohibited on petpages.com.au
Under this policy, petpages.com.au may, at its discretion, remove classifieds when the item, description, or service reflects the above or is otherwise deemed antisocial.

URL’s, Links and Contact Information:                                                    
petpages.com.au does not allow links that:
• reference obscene, offensive, or inappropriate material
• attempt to circumvent usage of our site
• reference a competitor of petpages.com au
• are placed for the sole purposes of advertising a commercial website other than by direct negotiation with the site administrator.
Listings that fail to follow these guidelines will be removed and may lead to permanent suspension of your account.

Inappropriate Classifieds:                                                                  
petpages.com.au may at any time re-categorise, disable, or suspend classifieds which contain inappropriate material in the ad title, description, or image(s). If your classified ad is re-categorised, disabled, or suspended, you may be notified by email.

Non-binding negotiations:                                                                   
According to Australian laws and regulations, petpages.com.au classifieds are for actual personal use and are not legally binding offers to sell listed items. We permit classifieds describing listings to buy, sell, or give away and those referencing events or breeder information informing users of an opportunity to conduct a transaction outside of petpages.com.au. All such transactions are purely between the interested parties and in no way represent any interest, vested or otherwise, on behalf of petpages.com.au

Right to Terminate and Suspend:                                                          
petpages.com.au, at its sole discretion, may modify, suspend, or delete any classified ad or petpages.com.au membership immediately, and without notice, if we believe that you have not acted in compliance with the petpages.com.au Member Agreement and Classified Ad Guidelines.

Items that are Prohibited by petpages.com.au:                                      
It is the responsibility of all site users to ensure that transactions completed on petpages.com.au are for items and services that are appropriate for sale under all applicable laws and regulations. petpages.com.au reserves the right, but has no obligation, to refuse, reject or remove any classified ad at our sole discretion.
Site users may not present items or services prohibited for sale on petpages.com.au such as gifts, prizes or giveaways in connection with a classified ad. petpages.com.au may choose to revise these guidelines at any time.

Photographs and Pictures:                                                                        
Your listing photos should accurately represent the item you are advertising. In addition, you should use your own images whenever possible, not someone else's. We recommend that you take digital photos of what you are selling and use these in your ad.
In short, be up front about the nature of the items you are listing, and make sure your classified ad title, description, and images are not confusing to site users.
petpages.com.au reserves the right to modify any listing to more accurately represent what is being offered, and may suspend an ad at our sole discretion without notification.
