About Pads N' Paws

My name is Sallie and I have owned and bred cats for many years, Early I used to breed and show Siamese, but seeing the Ragdoll at a show, I thought they were the most lovely cat I have seen, and they are.

I had to wait 18 months to get my first Ragdoll, who is still alive (god love her) at 15 years old.

Ragdolls still being a relatively new breed do have some health issues, all my cats are tested for HCM (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy) and PKD (Polycystic Kidney Disease) and my cats are CLEAR.

My cattery is Feline Leukemia and Feline Aids free.

The Ragdoll is a totally indoor cat, they are too trusting to be allowed outside on their own. They will walk up to cars, people, dogs and most things, with no fear. So please keep your baby inside all the time, for more info visit: www.minincaragdolls.com

The Ragdoll is a very easy to care for cat, they have a soft Angora feel to their coat, they dont have the heavy undercoat like the Persian or Himalayan, I find that stroking your cat can be enough, except for when they are moulting, then a good slicker brush is recommended.
