Professional Canine Massage Therapy
Welcome to Rebuilding Rover
I am a qualified Canine Myofunctional Massage Therapist trained in canine anatomy, biomechanics and massage techniques. I am also a certified Veterinary Nurse IV. In particular my professional interests are; improving mobility after surgery or injury, palliative care for elderly dogs and managing chronic arthritis.
‘Rebuilding ROVER’ has been treating dogs in Adelaide, South Australia since 2008.
It is never too late to make improvements to your dog’s quality of life. Massage can help the musculoskeletal system in young and old.
Even near the end of life, a soothing & nurturing treatment can help ease the journey.
I meet with clients in their own homes, so that my canine clients are more content, and those who are less mobile don’t have to endure the stress of transport. After a massage treatment the dogs often have a relaxing sleep….sometimes they are already asleep during the session!
A typical consultation takes 1-1.5hrs.
This includes a full assessment, massage and aftercare advice. Before starting the hands-on treatment I will ask a few questions about your dog’s medical history, diet, lifestyle etc.
