Cattery
The Swan Valley Cattery established in October 2004 by John and Caroline Melia. Both cat lovers and owners who wanted to set up a facility where cats would be both comfortable and safe while their families were away.

Each cat has its own individual run with a comfortable bed, litter tray, scratching post, food and water bowls.

The inside run is reverse cycle air conditioned, providing comfort all year round. Each cat has access to its own outside run with wooden scratching post and cat hammock.

All the outside runs lead to a larger outside enclosure where all the cats spend individual time each morning while their runs are thoroughly cleaned out.

All cats have individual cuddles and play time each day. We also cater for larger cat families with interconnecting runs so they can be together but still have individual space if they need it.

Food

Every cat has their own personalised meals menu. The Swan Valley Cattery provides food for all meals and have a variety of foods to offer.

If your cat has special dietary requirements and/or veterinary prescriptions we are happy to care for the health of your cat by allowing for your cats special dietary requirements during their stay at The Swan Valley Cattery.

Individual diets and specific feed times are kept the same as at home in order to help your cat feel comfortable and help your cat settle in.

Health

All cats residing at The Swan Valley Cattery require a current flu vaccination. It is essential to present your cats current flu vaccination certificate at the arrival time of boarding. All cats must have their worm and flea treatments up to date prior to boarding to ensure a comfortable stay for everyone.

If a cat becomes sick whilst staying at the Cattery, the cat will be treated by a vet, at the expense
of the cat owner.
There are many areas of the Cattery for your cat to enquire into during the day. From basking in the sunshine on their very own day bed, to an air conditioned indoor play area, or simply a shaded outdoor area. The choice is left freely up to your cat. Ensuring a healthy and comfortable cat during your holiday.
